There are 3 Easy Ways to Make a Donation

MIALS is grateful to receive donations from individuals and island businesses and organizations. Tax receipts will be issued for all donations of $20 or more.  We utilize generous donations like yours to help fund our programs, provide services for older adults in our community, and seek training for our volunteers and team members. These funds go a long way and are needed in tandem with government grants so we can continue to provide programs and services to Mayne Island residents in the future.

Donation by Cheque:

Please make your cheque payable to Mayne Island Assisted Living Society or simply MIALS.  If your cheque does not have your name and address on it, please include a note in the envelope with the name and address to be used for your tax receipt.

Donation by Credit Card:

To make a donation directly from this website please use the form on this page.  We accept  Visa, Mastercard or American Express credit cards.  Our secure DonorBox payment system allows you to make a one time payment of a standard or custom amount, register for monthly payments if this is easier for you or even set up an annual giving program.  Once your donation is made you will receive a confirmation email that is also your tax receipt.  If you have registered for monthly payments you will get one tax receipt at the end of the year.  Information entered into this system is used for card processing and tax receipts only and will not be shared with anyone. Credit card processing is by Stripe, the world leader in secure online transactions.

Donation by E Transfer:

To donate by e transfer please send your payment to: donations@mials.org

To do this you will need to set up MIALS as an e transfer payee in your online banking.  Please include the words “Donation to MIALS” in the comment area. If you would like a tax receipt, please send an email to treasurer@mials.org with your name, the donation amount, the e transfer date and your mailing address.  This information is required for your tax receipt.
