Meet Our New Executive Director

We are very pleased to introduce Tracy Chernaske, as the new Executive Director of  MIALS. Tracy is no stranger to MIALS. She began as a volunteer in 2022 and now facilitates our Creative Café program along with Sue Duncan.   She also facilitates the Collective Care program.

Tracy is a certified Expressive Arts Therapist with experience working with seniors and those experiencing grief and life transitions. She is also a skilled fine artist, an event planner, a photographer and excellent at working with social media. You have probably noticed all the interesting social media posts from MIALS. Tracy is behind all those creative posts.

We are thrilled to have Tracy on the MIALS Team. In Tracy’s words “I’m super excited to be able to continue working with MIALS in this new capacity and making further connections with the Mayne community which has been so meaningful as well as rich in heart, experience, talents and resources.”

Our heartfelt thanks to Nevah Eyton, our Executive Director for the past 2 years. MIALS has grown and thrived under her leadership. Nevah has just completed a month of training with Tracy to ensure a smooth transition. All our programs and services will continue uninterrupted.
