MIALS has received a generous donation from this incredibly community minded organization who have unfortunately made the difficult decision to close their doors. We understand that closing an organization is not an easy decision, and we deeply appreciate their thoughtful consideration in choosing to support MIALS and Mayne Island seniors during this transition. More than just a financial contribution, it is a legacy of the Silver Maynes’ commitment to making a positive impact in our community.

The Silver Maynes presented their donation of $11,000.00 to MIALS at the MIALS Annual General Meeting and a portion of this gift will support seniors through our Better at Home program. This contribution will enable us to continue to support seniors to live at home in dignity and safety by ensuring clean spaces, full hearts, and helping maintain independence in their homes here on Mayne.
